Introduction

The Construction work of Awash– Kulib– Dire dawa/ Harar Overlay Road Project Contract I involves the construction of a 570- kilometer-long road way designed to improve transportation efficiency, enhance regional connectivity, and support economic development in the Awash– Kulib–Dire dawa/ Harar Oromia region.
The project aims to provide a durable, safe, and sustainable infrastructure solution that meets both current and future traffic demands.

Scope of Work
The construction activities include land surveying, site preparation, earthworks, sub-base and base layer construction, asphalt or concrete pavement works, drainage system installation, and the establishment of road safety features such as signage, guardrails, and lighting systems. Where necessary, the project also involves the construction of supporting structures such as bridges, culverts, and retaining walls.
