Yonab Construction is proud to announce the signing of a major new project agreement for the design and construction of the Kombolcha Airport Airfield Expansion and Security Fence. This agreement, awarded by Ethiopian Airlines Group, marks a significant milestone in enhancing Ethiopia’s aviation infrastructure.

The project will involve the expansion of the airfield, including the extension of runways and taxi ways to accommodate larger aircraft, as well as the construction of a modern security fence to ensure enhanced safety and operational efficiency at the airport.

As part of the agreement, Yonab will lead the design, engineering, and construction phases of the project, ensuring compliance with international aviation standards and security regulations. The works will be carried out using state-of-the-art equipment, high-quality materials, and best practices in construction and project management.

The project is slated to begin in November,2024, with the air field expansion and security fence expected to be completed by December,2025.
